Len Goodman
A renowned ballroom dancer and judge on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” has died at the age of 78. The news was confirmed by the show’s official Twitter account, which paid tribute to Goodman’s “kind heart, undeniable charm, and wit.”
Goodman was born in London, England, in 1944, and began his career as a ballroom dancer in the 1960s. He went on to become a successful dance teacher and choreographer, working with some of the biggest names in the industry. In 2004, he joined the judging panel for “Strictly Come Dancing,” the British version of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Goodman’s expertise and no-nonsense approach made him a popular and respected figure on the show, and he was known for his catchphrases, including “it’s a ten from Len.” He later became a judge on the American version of the show, where he remained until 2020.
